Configuring Gmail with any other email platform needs a correct settings order of Gmail. Gmail connection in outlook can be easy with these settings. I’m mentioning these settings below.

Manual IMAP Configuration
We'll have to configure the settings to make it accurate and easy manually.
- Select Manually configure server settings or extra server types under Auto Account Setup and click Next.
- Choose Internet E-mail. Send and receive e-mail messages by connecting to a POP or IMAP server.
- Now we must manually enter our settings in the format shown below. Check the following in the Server Information section.
- IMAP: account type
- imap.gmail.com is the incoming mail server
- SMTP server for outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com
- After that, we must select the More Settings option
- Internet E-mail Settings screen will appear and you have to click on the Outgoing Server tab, and tick marks the box just next to My outgoing server (SMTP) that requires authentication. Also, check the box next to Use the same settings as my incoming mail server
- Now click the Advanced tab in the same window
- 993 incoming servers
- SSL connection to the incoming server
- Outgoing encrypted server connection TLS
- 587 (outgoing server)
